Iron Man Review

Most comic book movies, let's be honest, suck. Not only is the dialogue bad, the story seems forced and uninspired. So, how happy was I today to exit Iron Man in Munich with a smile on my face. The film seemed different than all the others. More real. I even liked Robert Downey, Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow. The story moved along briskly. The special effects were subtle yet effective. So even though Iron Man won't open to Spider Man numbers, it secured its place in my summer roster of top movies - and its the first. After all, I could watch this one again. The other superhero movies, not so much.
