Biking in Munich

Everyone seems to ride a bike in Munich. Fortunately, there are paths around the city so you don't run the risk of being mowed down by a motorist like in Paris. However, it's still a bit scary when you try passing someone (or they try passing you). With just a few inches separating the handlebars, if you or the other biker sneezes, or swerves a bit to the left or right, it's wipeout city baby. To help combat such accidents, most people have bells to sound the alarm that they're trying to pass. Mine, however, only brings me closer to misfortunes because when I try to ring my bell, I lose focus. Nobody wants to be around me then.
