Our 1 Year Anniversary

Today, June 1st, is our one year anniversary of living in Munich. Does it seem like we've lived in Bavaria 12 months? Yes and no. So much has happened over the past year. We've had many guests, made new friends and continued traveling through Europe. Has it been everything we expected? Yes. Is it better than living in Paris? It's different. Are we ready to move back home? Yes and no.

As I look ahead to the holidays (and my expected return to Chicago), many uncertainties scare me. Will we find the house of our dreams? Will I keep working as a Creative Communications Consultant with Europe? If not, will I find a job I like and look forward to attending on Mondays? Will we continue to travel? Will we fall back into a rut of eating at Taco Bell on Sundays before going to Costco? Only time will tell. But I know this, we're going to make the best of our last months in Germany. This experience only happens once.
