Vienna Live!
After a five hour a drive, and a full day of sightseeing through Vienna including Sisa the Empress' residence, the Museum Quartier, a few parks and some churches, we're calling it a night. I'd upload photos but I'm in the process of reassembling my camera after I dropped it outside what I believe is the parliament building. Hopefully, it will come together tomorrow before we head a few blocks away from our hotel Das Triest to check out the summer residence of the royal Viennese family. Before crashing, here's one quick observation. Well, a few actually.
We didn't know the speed limit through Austria so we were driving like we do in Germany - which is illegal. The speed limit is only 130 kilometers per hour in Austria. We had to be going 180+. Oops. Sisa the Empress, born in Munich, married her cousin from Austria. Didn't they know having sex with a family member is never a good idea? This inbreeding probably explains why suicide seemed to be quite popular in her family and other royal families throughout Europe.
