Trusting Germans

If anything, the Germans are trusting. I suppose it stems from the strict laws and resulting severe punishment.

Today, at lunch, Mark and I didn't have any cash for our sandwich (they didn't take debit cards). So, they let us eat our sandwich and pay later. Sadly, I almost forgot and walked away. Good thing Mark was there to remind me. Otherwise, I could be in jail right now.
