Winter Party Storms (Literally) into Miami
Today in Miami is the annual Winter Party Beach Party. Starting at noon, thousands of gays will descend on South Beach, around 8th and Collins, to dance the afternoon away. As of 9:54 a.m., we're all holding our breath - hoping that the storm creeping its way through Florida from the North holds off until around 6 p.m. Currently, forecasts show isolated storms hitting around 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. But because they're hopefully scattered, the beach party may only have to withstand a sprinkle or two.
Though, I've imagined a massive storm blowing onto the beach - collapsing the giant metal frame and smashing the gays like little bugs. Hopefully, if that happens, I'm position just right to slide through one of the openings.
