PTT Advent Calendar: Dec. 22

We like our art to feature quirky characters. So when we stumbled across Michael Madzo, an artist who appropriates images of historical paintings which he then cuts, alters, rearranges, paints, and stitches back together, we were thrilled. His works, "Portray figures in isolation that appear in large open landscapes or interiors devoid of clutter, a device to place focus on the hidden souls of these enigmatic people."
