Cuckoo Birds

Why are some people completely oblivious to reality? Tonight, at the grocery store, I was standing in line waiting for the self checkout machines. A deranged man walked ahead and asked, "Where's the line?" The person in front directed the idiot to the spot just behind me. But of course, the nut job replied, "Well why aren't you moving? Why aren't you going?" He then preceded to jump in front of us all to the next available machine - along with his six pack of Heineken.

We all grunted with someone stating, "People are nuts." Of course, I wanted to rumble, but after taking a breath or two, I decided it wasn't worth my time or energy. So the cuckoo bird got away with his inappropriate actions.
