Pinning 4 Show

Tonight we swung through J. Crew after eating Mexican at Uncle Julio's. I spotted a mannequin wearing a cardigan I liked. But Chris pointed out it was pinned in the back - giving it that slim profile that's more suited for my build. So of course, it wouldn't fit me as nice. Then, as we looked around, EVERY mannequin's top was pinned back. Which, led me to ask the salesperson, "If you showcase all your merchandise by pinning it back, why don't you just cut them slimmer in the first place?" It didn't take me long to answer my own question. "America is just too fat."
