PTT Travels 2: Oprah! A Comedy!

To celebrate our friend's birthday, we zipped through dinner tonight before heading to Oprah! A Comedy! at the Annoyance Theater in Chicago. The hour performance about Oprah's last show was short on laughs (and on budget), but there were a few bright moments including a quick bit with local commercials. The star of the show, as Oprah, Michelle Renee Thompson did her best with the material. However, one actor, who played Ellen and Suzie Orman, stood out amongst the small cast.

So would I recommend the show? Probably not. Perhaps they need to hire us to freshen up the script. Because on our way home, we were cracking ourselves up. Are you listening "Oprah?"
