Making an Impact

I ran into a friend from long ago today. He said he meant to contact me because he had a funny story to share. 12 years ago, I stopped by his classroom dressed as Wally Warhead (the spokescharacter for Mega Warheads candy). I worked for the Foreign Candy Company at the time. I also read my children's book, Sue Snorter, to the kids.

Well this past week, they returned after graduation to see their former teacher. And crazy enough, they brought up my visit and how they distinctly remember the time I spent with them. Not only is it crazy to think that they recall that day long ago, but that it's been 12 years since! Thanks to Randy for sharing. Made my day.
