Pink Trash Travels 2: Michigan 4 Halloween

This weekend, we traveled a bit North and around the lake to Saugatuck, MI. Our friends Mike and Steve invited us, along with a few other friends, to celebrate Halloween in the little, gay resort town.

We've never been to Michigan for Halloween - always finding our way there to celebrate Fourth of July. So we thought it would be fun to check it out. That, and I didn't need to stay in Chicago for another lame evening out on Halsted.

We decided to be some version of a Scout as it was easy to execute. That, and everyone could put their own stamp on their uniform. So a few hours before the parade, we prepped our costumes. From there, we socialized with a few others who stopped by pre-event. And around 10 p.m., we made our way outside to freeze while we watched the parade (as it was only about 38 degrees).

As you can see in the photo above, I was a bit cold. Some may think I was flexing - trying to make my arms bigger by crossing them. No. Quite the contrary. All I wanted was to stay warm. The price you pay to be the "slutty" Boy Scout.
