EU Grants Same-Sex Rights

Not only are the Europeans ahead of the U.S. in terms of music and, in many cases, fashion, the EU now demonstrates their understanding of same-sex rights by granting gay couples privileges similar to those of the married sort. Of course, this only applies to those countries recognizing same-sex unions such as Sweden and Denmark. But, it's an important first step in establishing the rights we all should be granted - gay or straight.
