Vienna Live: Saturday

After two full days in Vienna, we've decided it's much more of a livable city for "just two straight dudes vacationing together" than Munich. Not that Munich is bad, and not that we haven't enjoyed it, but visiting other European cities really exposes how Munich's conservative and quiet demeanor envelopes the "village." It might have something to do with the fact that Vienna has over 1.7MM people compared to Munich's 1MM. Or, it just could be that Vienna has a lively atmosphere and a vibe to the city that is missing in the capital of Bavaria. Either way, we've enjoyed walking around, stumbling across techno parades, eating apple strudel, catching an 8:30 showing of Hancock, shopping, gazing at tour guides dressed like Mozart, visiting churches, and watching the entire city eat ice cream (I've never seen so many ice cream cones).
