Pink Trash Travels

My New Faves

Since moving to Europe, I've never been a big fan of Zara. For starters, if you buy something from the cheap trendy retail shop, you'll most likely be looking in a mirror as you walk through town. However, I'm now a big fan of their Zara Basic line of t-shirts and premium dress shirts.

Available in v-neck and crew styles for only 12 euros, Zara Basic t-shirts are slimmer cut through the body yet generous through the shoulders. So, they don't blouse around my waist. Today I bought one in white, black and hunter green. I wish they would have had gray, but apparently I'm not the only one who appreciates the slim line and was on the search for this simple, easy, yet enjoyable item.

Our good friend Xavier introduced me to the Premium dress shirts. Again, these button down basics are slimmer cut through the body with appropriate sizing through the shoulders and chest. I've truly never tried on a dress shirt that contours so nicely to my physique. As a result, I bought both a black and white version for just 39 euros each.

I still won't buy a more obvious piece of clothing from Zara such as outwear. But for basics, Zara now is the place to turn for layering pieces perfect to accompany those more unique items that line my closet.
