Chicago has had mild winters since we moved to Europe three years ago. When we arrived in Paris in 2005, it was one of the hottest on record. Munich had one of the coldest summers when we landed in 2007. It only makes sense then that Chicago is the coldest it has been in a decade and it has had the most consecutive days of snow since records began in 1884. I can only imagine what's next. A blistering summer perhaps?
