The Housing Report - And Here We Sit Again

Having been signed off by all disciplines last week in our Open Plan Review, we're now just waiting for someone to enter our plans into the system as "approved." So, I called our Project Manager Robert (who returned this morning from a relocation assignment) to ensure he received our plans last Friday and to find out when I could expect to receive my permit in my hands. What worries me is he asked, "Where are they now?"

That's not a good sign. So I gave him my name, contact information and application number so he could investigate. That was four hours ago. Which means, most likely, I'll have to call down to City Hall once again tomorrow morning to follow-up with Robert. Why can't they just do their job - and well? I'd take at least "half assed" at this point.
