The Future?

Because I'm unsure of how my role with McDonald's will unfold as I prepare my exit strategy from Europe, I'm focusing my energies on finding a job back in Chicago. I'd prefer to keep my consulting relationship in tact, but I'm afraid because of staffing changes, etc., I may be forced to move forward in another direction. Which, I'm finding is quite difficult while living abroad.

Because of the distance, I've lost out to more than one job. And, considering I'm trying to focus my search on entertainment related opportunities (or those other positions where creativity would be my main responsibility), it's not as though I have a plethora of avenues to explore. So, unless I find my way back to Chicago before the end of the year (giving me a few months to land a job), I may find myself unemployed come 2009. C'est la vie!
