Pink Trash Travels

Budapest Live!

Because wi-fi at our Four Seasons Hotel isn't cheap (I refuse to pay $48 per day for internet connection), I'm using the free service in the business center. As such, there won't be any photos uploaded until either (a)we arrive in Prague tomorrow and the Le Meridien has free access or (b)we return back hom to Munich on Wednesday (most likely the latter).

As for our two day visit to Budapest, we've spent the first day recovering from our 100 euro fine in Austria from not having a toll sticker (more to come on that incident), touring the grand palace and royal church and having dinner at an international restaurant where the food was less than declicious. Today, we've essentiall completed our tour by visiting Europe's largest synagogue, visiting the high fasion shopping district and roaming around the open market.

Tonight, we'll be floating down the Danube along with eating at a traditional Hungarian restaurant where I hope to enjoy ghulash. And considering Hungary is where it all begins with ghulash, I have high hopes. Check back later this week to see if the end result is one that's quite tasty or tragic.
