Confessions of a Miss Universe Junkie

Sad as it may be, I used to sit at home on Sunday nights, with my brother and my grandma, to watch the Miss Universe pageants. We'd score the contestants and try to determine who'd be the eventual winner. Back then, the pageant seemed to be a big deal. Today, not so much (thanks Donald Trump). That is, unless, someone falls - which Miss USA Crystle Stewart did on Sunday night in Vietnam. This follows a similar tumble by Miss USA Rachel Smith in the 2007 Miss Universe pageant in Mexico City. If anything, it will make Crystle a YouTube sensation. Maybe she can parlay the mistake into a hosting gig at Extra.
