If we would have departed on time, we would have missed the bad weather. But because the pilots were waiting for "some paperwork," there we sat watching the clouds roll in and our chances of getting out fade quickly.
Luckily, I was fortunate to be on one of the new reconfigured United Business planes. So I watched TV, played backgammon and eventually slept for more than three hours on my return to Munich. If my situation had been similar to Chris' when he left Chicago last week, with no new seating and unavailable catering, combined with the weather delay, I don't think I'd be sane enough to be typing this post from Munich. I most definitely would have lost my marbles.
