Santorini: Day Two

The day started with a hike to the giant rock formation across from our hotel. We climbed to the top even though we were unsure of our ability to crawl back down. But it was a success as nobody broke any bones.

From there, we ventured in our Panda Fiat to the three popular beaches in Santorini - Vlichada Beach with its black sand and sweeping white sculptured cliffs, Perivolos Beach with numerous bars and unlimited umbrellas scattered on 4km of black sandy beaches, and the Red Beach with deep red volcanic terrain. Because after all, even though Chris and I aren't beach people, we thought we should at least touch our feet into the Aegean Sea once before returning to Munich.
