Gym Jumping
In between writing about McDonald's Food, I'm sitting here contemplating dumping my current gym, Lakeview Athletic Club, for another fitness center. I have a few options including jumping over to Lakeview's sister club Lincoln Park Athletic Club or returning to Fitness Formula Club. Unfortunately, none of them are perfect. But I'm not sure if my current pumping situation is ideal for motivating me to perform at my best.
Lakeview Athletic Club is new. It's clean. And I have loyalty to the gym. But, sadly enough, there's no energy at the club. It's dead. There are a few people wandering around. But there's no energy. And part of going to the gym is the vibe you collect from those around you. As for Lincoln Park, it definitely feels different - more along the lines of what I'm hoping to find. But for now, and down the road, it's a bit more out of the way. Finally, there's Fitness Formula Club. It's older and the locker room is somewhat scary. But out in the open, in the weight room and cardio room, you can feel the electricity. Not only are there more men to keep me motivated, it just feels better. Besides that, most of my friends are members. So which do I chose?
Based on money, I should stick with Lakeview as we receive partner benefits. And over the next six months, it's right around the corner. But considering I spend so much time at the gym, I need to feel welcomed. So just like on HGTV's House Hunters, which one will I chose?
