It looks as though a sleeper hit will be born this weekend with the release of The Hangover. On Friday, the hot rated R film collected almost $17M for what is expected to be a $50M weekend. Down went The Land of the Lost with only $6.8. Looks like Will Ferrel's remake of the campy 70s TV show didn't strike a chord with the movie going public. It sure didn't with me.
