Freaking Out

I was watching Golden Girls tonight when I wondered, "How old is Blanche in this episode that aired in 1985?" So I did a little research and found out she was 51. I started freaking out a bit as some of our friends are turning 50 this year. And Chris isn't too far behind at 45. Can this be possible?

I will say this, however. I think our friends look much younger than Blanche did at 51. I suppose it's because we're gay and we take good care of ourselves. That, and Botox really wasn't an option 25 year ago.
