Reasons 2 Avoid the Mag Mile Over a Holiday

Yesterday, I spent two hours on Michigan Avenue searching for a pair of dress shoes for an interview next week. As I walked the Magnificent Mile, I was nearly crushed by the thousands of tourists who were spending their dollars on everything from Apple products to Zara to Garret's Popcorn. So not only was I irritated by their lack of peripheral people skills, but they should know better than to hop from the North Avenue beach to high-end shopping without changing their attire. Michigan Avenue is not a lazy day board walk.
