Housing Report

Now that our financing for the house is approved, and the appraisal is done, we're just waiting for our September 3 closing date. In the meantime, I believe our architect and designer will be visiting the house this week taking measurements. From there, we expect to have their layout recommendation next week before we leave for Mykonos. I'm a bit nervous in that how we hope to configure the space might leave the bedrooms a bit small, but I'm hoping they can solve the puzzle. Otherwise, we've discussed going into the third floor (attic) to create a master bedroom and bath. However, Chris and I, along with Maddie and Dennis, don't need a 5-6 bedroom house. It will just cost us more in the long run as our cleaning lady will have more work to do.
