Blending It All Away


Today was an exciting day as it was the first time I used our new BlendTec blender for shakes. Over the past four weeks, we've been mixing our protein creations in a standard drink blender. Not only did the motor pierce my eardrums, it was difficult to clean. Now, with the BlendTec, we can throw in the world and it comes out smooth and creamy (even chicken for those of you who have followed along over the years).

Not that it had to work hard today. I'm out of steel cut oatmeal. So instead, I used Cheerios. And since babies suck on those, it didn't take much to blend it all together.

Today's Blend
One Cup Vanilla Protein
8 oz. POM Wonderful Pomegranate Juice
One Cup Original Cheerios
One Cup Frozen Blueberries
2 Tbs. Flaxseed
1 Tsp. Glutamine
1 Tsp. BCAA
1 Tsp. Creatine
8 Oz. Water

Note: Makes Two Servings - one before the gym and one after.
