Pink Trash Travels

The Housing Report: July 10, 2009

On Wednesday, Chris and I ventured out in the rain to the stonecutter responsible for turning our giant slab of Carrera marble into kitchen countertops. We needed to match a cabinet paint color to our little piece of heaven. While there, we also selected a top for our French antique cabinet that we'll be placing in our new home's powder room. Apparently, it's a remnant from a famous designer's project. I don't remember his name, but the mini slab is beautiful none-the-less.

The team responsible for giving our marble a nice clean edge.

Our Carrera Gold marble slab. We've been waiting for the perfect piece to arrive with just the right amount of veining and hues of golden brown.

The powder room top. It looks grey, but it's really black with swirls of wonder.
