Our Very Own Charlotte
Yesterday, we watched this little spider create a web just above a crate we purchased from Salvage One in Chicago (I'm thinking she was a stow away in the hydrangeas I borrowed from Michigan). It was amazing to see our very own Charlotte spin her way around - weaving an almost perfectly symmetrical work of art.
Now that she's done and waiting for her prey, I'm not quite sure what to do with her. I hate to disturb her silk lair. But I also don't want her going for a stroll around the apartment - making babies along the way. So, I'm thinking today I'll relocate her to the great outdoors. This way, she can give her gift to someone else.
